When you watch a team take shape in front of the canvas, you never forget the experience. It is fast, it is powerful and it is electric. The colors they apply to the canvas begin to blend just as the team melds and somehow, every time, non-artists create something stunning. It speaks to them and about them.
After painting, conversation is more open, more direct and more effective for two reasons not found in conventional team building: one, people are amazed to learn what they can do with an unfamiliar medium when they support each other, and two, the art is hung in the workplace as a constant and powerful reminder of what your team can do when they work together. Don't be surprised if you see someone just staring into it, or if you overhear conversation about the painting, long after your Canvas Creek Team Building event. Of course, you could TRY to do collaborative painting alone, but you would not get the same results! We put the process through dozens of tests and have worked with hundreds of teams. Let us do what we do (build teams, with paint) and we'll let you do what you do (something amazing we're sure!). Also, we clean the brushes so you don't have to!
