Giving is in our nature at Canvas Creek so when non-profits contact us we do our best to help them help others. Often we are contracted to provide an interactive painting event and the canvases are then sold at auction. Sometimes they fetch $200, sometimes $2500, but the amount is always a welcome boost to the coffers and the participants are always awed by what they create together.
Together, with creativity and generous bidders, Canvas Creek Team Building generated over $22,000 for non-profits in April 2012. We'd like to do that every month! Our actual goal is a minimum of $100,000 generated each year.

MCUCD FUNdraisers Break Record
"We're excited to tell you that the FUNdraisers during the MCUN Annual Convention raised over $17,000 for MCUCD programs! We were even with last year, until the live auction Thursday night. The bids flew around auctioneer (and keynote speaker) Lee Silber as folks vied for the beautiful pieces of art that credit union professionals and volunteers had created at Canvas Creek Team Building. In the end, an additional $5,250 was raised.
A special shout out to CUsource for sponsoring and organizing the annual Golf Tournament, which raised over $4,000, and Altana FCU for sponsoring and organizing the Canvas Creek Team Building fundraiser, bringing in $2,842 in addition to the auction. Rounding out the fundraisers were the silent auction, raising nearly $4,500, and the 50/50 ticket sales. Thank you to everyone participating in one of the fundraisers, whether it's sponsoring or attending an event, donating or purchasing a silent auction item, or opening your wallet when asked to buy a ticket. Credit union generosity is fantastic, and this year it was record-breaking!"

Non-Profit Donation
Canvas Creek Team Building gives a minimum of 10% of their profits and efforts to non-profits. You can help us do that. Schedule your event during a fund raiser we are participating in and 10% of your event fee will be given to the organization.
